Experience:
We have framed thousands of works since we opened Art House Dubai in 2005. Collectively we have over 130 years worth of experience. We pride ourselves in the high quality of our materials and finished products. We appreciate the value of each and every item that is brought to us for framing, whether they be collector’s works or sentimental items, we frame each item with the utmost care and frame them beautifully.
QUALITY MATERIALS & EXPERT ADVICE :
We have over 600 mouldings available in a variety of styles and finishes. We only stock European mouldings, as they use FSC certificated ( forest stewardship council ) woods, a mark of responsible forestry. We also have a more economical frame option of resin mouldings which are made from 100% recycled products.
We can provide our clients with conservation framing options that include acid free mounting and UV protective glazing. Our range of framing styles is shown during our full consultation.
The variables we consider during our consultations consist of the medium of the item for framing, its monetary value and preferred style of framing perceived by the client. The outcome of the consultation is a marriage between the requirements of the customer and the expertise of our framing consultants.
The most important aspect of good framing is visual impact, the overall impression of a mounting and framing on any piece of artwork or object is to give a total effect which is pleasing to the eye, whilst enhancing the art or object being presented. Here at Art House Dubai our staff will consult with the customer to gain information about their style and offer suitable advice on the presentation of their artworks, whether they prefer simplicity or wish to take it to another level and create a 'wow' factor.
CONSERVATION FRAMING :
We were the first art gallery in Dubai to introduce conservation framing. Sue McGregor is the owner of Art House Dubai, and has undergone several courses in archival framing in the U.K to ensure that her team in Dubai continue to keep up with current trends and have the latest available acid free materials to use for conservation framing.
