Established in 1949 in Amman, Jordan to humble beginnings by the late Mr. Nicola Abu Khader; NASCO Automotive today is a multinational organization employing hundreds of staff members in seven countries. NASCO Automotive with all its branches is the core of the Abu Khader Group (AK Group) which consists of fourteen companies inside and outside Jordan. AK Group is currently being run by second generation Chairman Mr. George Abu Khader and third generation CEO Mr. Nicola Abu Khader Jr.
Even though the AK Group has diversified its business and grown into many new ventures; their long heritage and experience in spare parts meant that most of their new businesses remained within the general automotive industry. AK Group is Jordan’s largest car dealership group being the exclusive agents for the GM family Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC, in addition to Opel, and BMW Group,Mini. On the commercial vehicle side AK Group also exclusively represents Mitsubishi FUSO, Massey-Ferguson and Daewoo Busses. They are also the official and exclusive dealers for Mitsubishi BMW in Palestine. Through other companies in the group they have ventured into leasing, public transportation, car rental, adhesive and chemical manufacturing, automotive battery manufacturing, gas stations, education and real estate development.
